Meet the Marietta Team Behind Brandt HVAC Co Marietta

When your AC gives out on a 94-degree afternoon in July or your furnace won’t kick on during a January cold snap, the person who shows up matters as much as the tools on the truck. Our Marietta crew is a tight group of people who’ve spent years in attics, crawl spaces, and the back of condenser units around Cobb County. We know the houses here, we know the humidity here, and we know what fails here. Most of all, we know each other’s work. That’s what keeps the standard where it belongs.

Our People

Mike R. – Lead Service Technician

Mike has been fixing residential HVAC systems in the Atlanta metro area for over fourteen years, and there isn’t much he hasn’t seen strapped to a furnace or buried in a compressor cabinet. He holds his NATE certification in air conditioning and heat pump service, and he’s the person our newer techs call when a diagnostic doesn’t add up. Mike is weirdly good at finding refrigerant leaks that other people walk right past. He says it’s patience; the rest of us think he can hear a hiss from across a driveway. On his days off, he’s usually under the hood of a 1972 Chevy C10 that he swears will run again someday.

Dana S. – Senior Installer

Dana leads our changeout and new-install work across Marietta, Kennesaw, and the surrounding neighborhoods. She started as an apprentice eleven years ago, earned her EPA Section 608 certification, and has trained under some of the most particular installers in north Georgia. She’s exacting about line sets, drain pans, and proper manifold pressure, and she will redo a chase until the fit is right. Dana is also the reason our install jobs include labeled breakers and a clean worksite at the end of the day. When she’s not running an install crew, she’s competitive in local bass fishing tournaments, which is fitting given how much she loves a wire that’s pulled clean.

Laurie T. – Service Coordinator

Laurie is usually the voice you hear first when you call Brandt HVAC Co Marietta at (478) 662-5175. She keeps the schedule moving, routes technicians by priority, and makes sure every customer knows exactly who’s coming, when they’ll arrive, and what to expect before they pull in. Laurie’s background is in dispatching for a plumbing company in Douglasville, and she’s been with us for five years now. She has an almost unnerving memory for return customers and their equipment history. If you call back a year later with the same system, she remembers the filter size and probably the dog’s name. On weekends, she volunteers with a local dog rescue.

Anton J. – HVAC Apprentice

Anton joined us two years ago and is working through his HVAC apprenticeship while taking courses toward his NATE certification and EPA 608 license. He rides with Mike and Dana depending on the season, which means he learns diagnostics in the summer and installation in the fall and spring. Anton grew up in Powder Springs and graduated from McEachern High School, so he knows the west Cobb area well, which helps when we’re routing calls. He’s the one who double-checks the truck stock every Friday and keeps the van organized enough that no one has to dig for a contactor at 7 p.m. He’s also a respectable home cook who brings a dangerously good brisket to team gatherings a few times a year.

The name Brandt comes from an old word for a firebrand, which fits the work of keeping a home warm in the winter and cool through the Georgia summer. Devin grew up around HVAC work and has spent his career hiring people who would rather explain a problem clearly than push an upsell. Every one of the people above reports to Devin, and none of them are paid on commission. That keeps the recommendations honest.
