We can describe our work until we’re blue in the face, but there’s no substitute for seeing it. A rusted AC condenser swapped for a clean, level unit. A furnace closet that looked like a fire hazard turned into a tidy, safe install. Below are the kinds of transformations our techs handle in Marietta neighborhoods every week. Photos drop in as fast as our crews can take them.

AC Condenser Swap: From Rusted-Out to Ready for a Georgia Summer
Before
AfterThe old unit sat on a cracked concrete pad, coils so choked with cottonwood fuzz and pine needles that head pressure ran dangerously high. We recovered the remaining refrigerant, removed the failed condenser, and set a new matched unit on a raised, level pad with proper clearance for airflow. The homeowner said the new system is so quiet they forget it’s running, which is exactly what you want in July.
Furnace Igniter Replacement: No Heat at 9:00 PM, Fixed by 11:00
Before
AfterA family off Roswell Road called on a weeknight with a cold house and a furnace that clicked but wouldn’t light. The igniter had cracked, which is common after years of heat cycling. We replaced it with an OEM part, cleaned the flame sensor while we were in there, and had heat blowing again before they finished dinner. Most furnace igniter replacements run between $150 and $300, parts and labor included.
Whole-System Duct Cleanup and AC Tune-Up in Powder Springs Street Area

The coil looked like it had been growing a sweater. Decades of dust and pet hair had matted across the fins, starving airflow and icing the lines. We pulled the panel, cleaned the coil with a non-acidic evap cleaner, checked the refrigerant charge, and corrected the airflow. The system dropped from a 22-degree temperature split to a proper 18 – 20 degrees, and the musty smell in the hallway disappeared. Now the system cycles normally instead of running constantly.
Rheem Heat Pump Reversal Valve Diagnosis and Repair

The system would cool fine but wouldn’t switch to heat, which is a tricky one to diagnose because the compressor runs but the mode doesn’t change. We traced the issue to a stuck reversing valve, not the thermostat or the board. The repair involved recovering refrigerant, replacing the valve, pressure-testing with nitrogen, and recharging to the manufacturer’s spec. It’s rewarding work because when it’s done, the heat actually starts moving again instead of pretending to.
Closet Furnace Cleanout: From Cluttered Hazard to Safe, Code-Clean Install

The homeowner had been using the furnace closet as a storage nook, with cardboard boxes stacked against the unit and a paint can resting on the flue pipe. That’s a fire waiting for a hot afternoon. We removed the combustibles, vacuumed the burner compartment, verified the flue draft with a combustion analyzer, and sealed a gap in the return plenum that was pulling attic air. The closet now has proper clearance, a clean filter, and a furnace that isn’t fighting to breathe.
Carrier AC Fan Motor Rescue on a Triple-Digit Day

The outdoor unit was humming but the fan blade wasn’t turning, which in Georgia summers turns a condenser into a metal box full of hot refrigerant. We diagnosed a failed capacitor and a seized fan motor. Replaced both, checked the compressor amp draw to make sure nothing else had been damaged, and had cool air moving again within a couple of hours. That repair runs roughly $280 to $450 on most Carrier units, depending on motor type.
